Kayaking in Trishuli River
Trishuli River (grade 3) is a nearest destination to enjoy the River Kayaking from Kathmandu. It is an ideal River for rafting, kayaking and Canyoning for the beginners to the experts. Various thrilling rapids and the beautiful surroundings make the Trishuli Kayaking spectacular. If you want to enjoy the far adventurous rapids, monsoon is the best season for it, due to the high flow of water.
Some of the challenging rapids in the Trishuli River are the Snail's nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid, Monkey rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid. Kayaking can be used also as a rescuer for the rafters, who fall from the big boat. Picturesque valleys and remarkable gorges, exciting rapids and easier sections all make the trip perfect and impressive. A single day Kayaking trip begins at Charaudi, which lies between the Kathmandu- Pokhara highway and ends in the Kuringhat. Then you drive towards the further destination- city of the Lakes Pokhara or Chitwan National Park or drive all the way back to Kathmandu. The kayaking is faster and enjoyable than rafting on the big boat.
